Kim Kardashian Shares Sweet Birthday Tribute to Kanye West

While Kim Kardashian and Kanye West may be in the middle of one of the biggest celebrity breakups of the year, there still seems to be a level of love between them. In honor of the rapper's birthday, the KKW Beauty mogul posted an Instagram photo of the couple with their four children. "Happy Birthday," she wrote in the caption, "Love U for Life!"

Reports emerged in January that the couple was on the precipice of a split after spending the better part of the previous year living separately with Kardashian in Los Angeles and West staying at his Wyoming ranch. The following month, the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star officially filed for divorce.

According to sources at the time, the Skims founder was upset over her husband's hasty presidential campaign and social media outbursts while she is continuing to fight for criminal justice reform and attending law school.

Recent episodes of Keeping Up have chronicled the end of their relationship as Kardashian's family members react to the pair's estrangement. Last week, Khloé attributed her sister's outburst over a plate of cookies to the underlying tension between the two due to a fight they had prior to the entire family's vacation to Lake Tahoe.

"Kim has been struggling privately behind camera about her relationship and it’s tough because Kim is clearly redirecting so much of her frustration and sadness and anger,” said the Good American entrepreneur in a confessional. "Sometimes you just take things out on something that has nothing to do with what you’re going through. It’s not the cookies’ fault.”
