Balmain Collaborates With Channel 4 On New Short-Form Drama Series

Set on the outskirts of LA, the upcoming series stars Charles Melton, Jesse Jo Stark, Tommy Dorfman, and Ajani Russell.

Balmain x Fracture

French fashion house Balmain partners with UK television network Channel 4 to produce a new short-form series, entitled Fracture. The upcoming project—consisting of five eight-minute episodes—is Channel 4’s first-ever branded drama series, as well as the release of Balmain's Fall/Winter 2021 collection.

Starring Charles Melton (Riverdale), singer-songwriter Jesse Jo Stark, Tommy Dorfman (13 Reasons Why), and Ajani Russell (Skate Kitchen), Fracture tells the story of Mya (Jesse Jo Stark), a singer-songwriter who abandons her life of privilege in New York and heads to Le Rêve Motel, a rundown building located on the outskirts of LA. Each character is dressed in Balmain Fall/Winter 2021 ensembles throughout the series.

Fracture helps to make very clear Balmain’s determination to continue to break down boundaries and engage in unexpected, compelling and entertaining ways with lovers of fashion, music and design,” said Balmain’s creative director Olivier Rousteing in a statement for Channel 4

Fracture is set to be released on September 2.
