Kim Kardashian has been all over social media lately talking about her love for Netflix's most-watched series of all time Bridgerton. To make matters even more exciting, Nicola Coughlan, who plays Penelope Featherington in the show, revealed on Twitter that the Kardashian family inspired a lot of her character's wardrobe. She wrote, "As the world's number one @bridgerton Stan does @KimKardashian know that the Kardashians were a massive inspiration for the Featheringtons and we talked about them all the time during our fittings?"

While the Featheringtons' startling color choices definitely won't be earning them an invite to the Met Gala, it's clear how the Kardashian sisters' outspoken fashion sense was infused into their vibrant ball gowns. Penelope's mother Porschia is even a bit of a momager like Kris Jenner, however, instead of running her daughters' businesses, she's trying to get them married.

Kim responded to Coughlan's reveal with overwhelming excitement. "WHAT?!?! I am freaking out!!!!!! This tweet was sent to me on my @bridgerton group chat! Can I please come to a fitting?!?! It would make my whole life!!!!!! I love you Lady W!!!" she wrote, using the pen name of Coughlan's character (*spoiler alert*: Penelope is Lady Whistledown).

Much to many fans' glee, Coughlan extended the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star an invitation and revealed another fashion connection between the two. "Omg yesss of course we would love to have you!" she tweeted. "Also did you know that Mr. Pearl made your corset for the Met Gala and the very next one he made was mine for Bridgerton?"

The actress is referring to Kim's 2019 Met Gala outfit. Under her Thierry Mugler dress, she wore a body-shaping corset created by the famed designer Mr. Pearl, which cinched her waist so tightly that she had to learn different breathing techniques. Coughlan added, "You’ve been part of the Bridgerton world for longer than you know!"

Netflix also responded to Kim's tweet, writing, "Kim Featherington does have a nice ring to it -- I'll see what I can do!" Could Bridgerton Season 2 be getting a Kardashian kameo? It's possible. According to Executive Producer Shonda Rhimes, filming on the second season began last week after being renewed for third and fourth seasons as well. Only time will tell if Kim K has what it takes to be a lady of the Ton.
